Le président de la Confédération africaine de football (Caf), Ahmad Ahmad, va effectuer une visite au Sénégal, le samedi 14 octobre prochain, sur invitation des responsables d’un programme de formation en management du sport sponsorisé par la Fifa et conduit en partenariat avec l’Université Cheikh Anta Diop (Ucad) de Dakar.
Dénommé CIES-UCAD, ce programme de formation sponsorisé par l’instance dirigeante du football mondial fête cette année ses 10 ans d’existence, selon Aps, lu par Actunet.net.
Au cours de son séjour au Sénégal, Ahmad Ahmad va animer le premier thème de la conférence-anniversaire du CIES-UCAD, aux amphis de l’UCAD 2 (salle de l’ISG), selon les responsables de cette formation.
Ils précisent que sa communication portera sur : «Le sport et le football professionnel en Afrique : état des lieux et perspectives pour la prochaine décennie».
Il s’ensuivra d’autres communications, dont celles du président de la Fédération sénégalaise de football (Fsf), Augustin Senghor, et du président de la Ligue sénégalaise de football professionnel (Lsfp), Saër Seck.
Les propos de M. Senghor et Seck vont porter sur «l’état actuel du football professionnel au Sénégal».
Entre ces deux communications, il reviendra à Louis Lamotte, qui avait piloté la création de la Ligue de football professionnel au Sénégal, d’introduire une communication sur «les défis de la création et du développement» de la Ligue sénégalaise de football professionnel (Lsfp).
