Lorsque Bombardier a commencé à pratiquer les Arts Martiaux Mixtes, c’était sans se douter une seule seconde qu’il combattrait un jour en dehors du Sénégal. C’était en 2010, lors d’une séance d’entraînement de routine à Montpellier, qu’il a commencé à pratiquer plusieurs arts martiaux, notamment le judo et la MMA. Plusieurs années après, alors que son combat de lutte avec Rocky Balboa a été refusé par le Comité national de Gestion de lutte du Sénégal, du fait que son adversaire ne s’était jamais essayé à la lutte sénégalaise, les amateurs de lutte réclamaient à tue-tête ce combat. C’est ainsi qu’un promoteur suisse la contacté, pour organiser le combat tant plébiscité, mais sous une autre forme. Sans tambour ni trompettes, B52 s’est entraîné sans relâche, sachant que tout faux pas se déteindrait sur son avenir à la MMA. Heureusement pour lui, il a relevé le défi en mettant KO Rocky Balboa en seulement une minute.
