La Société africaine de raffinage (SAR) est au centre d’une polémique portant sur un contrat de fourniture de produits pétroliers, pour 400 milliards de francs Cfa, et un déficit de trésorerie, prétendu ou réel, de 40 milliards de francs Cfa.
Pour y voir clair, Locafrique Holding, qui est entré dans le capital de la Sar en rachetant les actions de Saudi Bin Laden, a adressé une sommation au directeur de l’entreprise, Omar Diop, et au Président du Conseil d’administration, Serigne Mboup.
Selon Libération, à propos des 40 milliards, Locafrique soupçonne des «pertes commerciales fictives». Le journal signale que la direction générale, qui bénéficie du soutien du ministre du Pétrole, impute ce gap à l’Etat. Mais elle se heurte, selon la même source, au refus du ministère des Finances de mettre la main à la poche pour compenser cette perte financière.
