Vingt-huit personnes blessées suite à l’incendie du « daaka » de Médina Gounass (Vélingara, sud) ont reçu jeudi la visite du ministre de l’Intérieur et de la Sécurité publique, Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo, à l’hôpital régional de Tambacounda (est) où ils sont internés pour des soins, a-t-on appris de source autorisée.
M. Diallo a rendu visite aux 28 personnes internées dans cet établissement sanitaire, a indiqué à l’APS Ibrahima Dione, responsable des soins infirmiers de l’hôpital régional de Tambacounda, précisant qu’un 29e personne internée a rendu l’âme.
Il était en compagnie de sa collègue Awa Marie Coll Seck (Santé et Action sociale) et de la déléguée générale à la solidarité nationale, Anta Sarr Diacko.
Ces 29 blessés avaient été évacués à l’hôpital régional de Tambacounda, suite à cet incendie déclaré mercredi sur un site de retraite spirituelle (daaka) situé à 10 km Médina Gounass (région de Kolda).
La délégation ministérielle, en partance pour Médina Gounass, a fait un crochet au centre hospitalier régional de Tambacounda, au chevet des blessés, pour l’essentiel victimes de brûlures.
La délégation a remis une enveloppe de 10 millions de francs CFA aux autorités hospitalières, en guise de soutien d’urgence, a-t-il ajouté.
« Les évaluations (des blessés) sont en train d’être faites par les médecins », a poursuivi M. Dione, assurant toutefois que « leur pronostic vital n’est pas engagé ».
L’hôpital a reçu l’appui d’un anesthésiste, a-t-il dit, notant que les blessés graves seront évacués sur Dakar.
La délégation ministérielle a repris peu après la route en direction de Médina Gounass.
