Le Chef de la Mission résidente de la Banque Ouest Africaine de Développement (Boad), M. Yoro Diakité et le Directeur Général de la Banque Nationale pour le Développement Economique du Sénégal (Bnde), M. Thierno Seydou Nourou Sy, ont procédé, ce 26 février, à la signature d’une convention de financement d’un montant de 5 milliards de FCFA
Le communiqué qui donne l’information précise qu’il s’agit, de l’octroi d’une ligne de crédit à court terme en faveur de la BNDE, pour le refinancement partiel des concours octroyés au titre de la campagne de commercialisation arachidière 2017-2018 au sein du territoire sénégalais.
Selon la même source, cette convention permettra d’une part à la BNDE de mieux financer le secteur de l’agriculture, plus précisément l’arachide, afin de faciliter sa transformation, ce qui permettra la création d’emploi et de surcroît l’exportation de cette matière première phare, comme le souhaitent les autorités sénégalaises et les opérateurs économiques.
