C’est pourquoi, le sélectionneur des lions a transmis une liste de nations aux mêmes aptitudes que ces adversaires au mondial. Selon le quotidien Sénégalais, Record, Aliou Cissé a insisté sur le Panama et le Costa Rica, deux pays rattachant l’Amérique centrale et l’Amérique du Sud et qui ont un jeu similaire à la Colombie. Il a aussi ciblé d’autres adversaires dont le jeu est similaire à ceux de la Pologne et du Japon.
Pour réaliser les vœux de Coach Cissé, la Fédération Sénégalaise de Football a mandaté deux matchs-maker pour démarcher et finaliser ces matchs. Les dirigeants sénégalais veulent être invités pour ne rien payer. Une démarche qui freine les ardeurs des agents de matchs.
