En déplacement à Médina Baye dans le cadre du Gamou de Taiba Niassene, Diéne Farba Sarr a donné quelques chiffres encourageants. « De 600 mégawatts en 2012, le Sénégal a atteint aujourd’hui une puissance à hauteur de 1400 mégawatts. Ce chiffre est illustratif du grand bond en avant accompli par le gouvernement dans tous les secteurs », a indiqué M. Sarr, dans des propos rapportés par le journal L’AS.
