Sur ce, Djiby Bâ a porté plainte contre X et une enquête a été ouverte. La police a fait une réquisition au niveau de la Sonatel pour voir quelle puce a été insérée dans le téléphone portable volé. Et, c’est le nom d’Ibrahima Bâ qui est apparu. Les limiers ont tenté de le joindre en vain. Il a fallu recourir au service de son père qui a accepté de coopérer avec la justice de son pays pour l’arrestation de son propre fils. Ainsi, le mis en cause a été arrêté grâce au coup de fil de son papa.
