En effet, dans une interview exclusive chez nos confrères du Témoin et non dépourvue d’émotions, l’ancien directeur de la Direction des relations publiques des armées (Dirpa), submergé par l’émotion et la tristesse a, tout de même, dit toute sa fierté du devoir accompli. «J’ai la fierté et le sentiment d’avoir accompli ma mission, la fierté d’avoir servi mon pays après avoir répondu à l’appel de la patrie», souligne-t-il. Ajoutant : «Je suis à la fois content et ému de partir avec la poitrine semée de médailles et les épaules lourds de galons. Ce qui se justifie par le fait qu’en dehors du territoire national, j’ai servi mon pays aux quatre coins du monde dans les opérations de maintien de la paix». En terminant, le Colonel Antoine Wardini, ci-devant directeur du Service civique national, déclare qu’«étant à la retraite, je reste à la disposition de mon pays pour continuer à le servir dans d’autres domaines».
