Pour rappel, Kémi Séba, membre du même mouvement de lutte, avait été poursuivi par la Bceao pour avoir mis le feu sur un billet de 5000 Fcfa. Il a ensuite été libéré et relaxé. En guise de soutien, beaucoup d’africain ont à leur tour brûler ladite monnaie.
