A travers un communiqué rendu public vendredi, le porte-parole de l’Alliance des forces de progrès (Afp) dément l’information selon laquelle le président Moustapha Niasse aurait chamboulé les plans de Macky Sall en ce qui concerne le remaniement ministériel. Prenant le contrepied de Cheikh Yerim Seck, il assure que “le président de la République n’a jamais demandé au président de l’Assemblée nationale de renoncer à quelque responsabilité que ce soit”. Selon lui, “le prétendu refus de Moustapha Niasse est donc une vue de l’esprit, une contrevérité monstrueuse, d’autant plus que les institutions de la République ne sauraient faire l’objet d’une curée, dans une démocratie stable comme la nôtre, qui obéit à la réalité et aux impératifs du terrain». La même laisse aussi entendre que Cheikh Yerim Seck s’est livré « sans sourciller à des constructions d’une gravité extrême, allant jusqu’à inventer un entretien en tête-à-tête entre le président de la République et le président de l’Assemblée nationale, sur de prétendues négociations au sommet ». « Moustapha Niasse n’a été demandeur à aucune étape de sa carrière administrative et politique. Ce constat intangible reste d’actualité. Il n’y a pas eu l’ombre de négociations autour de la présidence de l’Assemblée nationale, parce que ce n’était pas nécessaire » ajoute porte-parole de l’Afp. Il ne manque pas, dans la même veine, d’affirmer que “depuis quelques jours, à l’approche de l’établissement de la liste des membres du gouvernement et de l’installation du Bureau de la 13ème législature, il s’opère de manière insidieuse une campagne de désinformation éhontée sur la personne du Président Moustapha Niasse” ». Il s’agit, à ses yeux, d’un “complot en porte-à-faux avec les intérêts stratégiques de notre pays, qui n’a guère besoin de plonger dans la médiocrité”.
