Accusés à tort ou à raison par le patron de Rewmi, Idrissa Seck, de rouler pour l’ennemi, les Maires de la commune de Thiès sortent de leur réserve …
Lamine Diallo (Thiès-Nord), Pape Bassirou Diop (Thiès-Est) et Alioune Sow (Thiès-Ouest) déclarent à qui veut les entendre qu’ils ne ménageront aucun effort pour venir à bout des souffrances des populations de Thiès, dont ils ont reçu mandat.
“S’il fallait aller sur la planète Mars pour régler les problèmes des Thièssois, pour attirer des investisseurs, nous n’hésiterions pas…”, ont-ils réagi aux accusations dont ils sont l’objet, depuis quelques jours.
Mais les trois responsables de Rewmi ne se sont pas arrêtés là. En réponse à leur manque de loyauté, ils se portent en faux contre ces accusations sans fondement et qui ne font que divertir la galerie.
“Il faut être clair. Il n’y a pas plus loyaux, engagés, fidèles que nous (Maires Rewmi de Thiès) au Président Idrissa Seck”, ont-ils martelé, à l’occasion d’un point de presse organisé pour lever toute amalgame.
Pour eux, loin de “trahir” et de rouler pour Talla Sylla avec qui ils ont fait le voyage pour Paris. “Nous avons reçu l’invitation de l’Association des Maires francophones (Amf) et nous avons profité de notre séjour pour rechercher des solutions aux problèmes de Thiès”, ont-ils recadré le débat. Ni plus ni moins !
