Le drame a eu lieu à koungheul, au quartier Santhie Modou Coura. D’après le journal le Quotidien, consulté par Actunet, le jeune officier a d’abord envoyé son voisin lui acheter un matelas, avant de se tirer une balle quand il s’est retrouvé seul. Les premières personnes sur place ont trouvé le corps sans vie du policier. Une enquête est ouverte.
