Ces journées de consultation ont été aussi marquées par une opération de don de sang, un dépistage Vih, une conférence axée sur ‘’Les conséquences de l’auto médication et l’insuffisance rénale chronique’’.
A travers ce geste, l’association veut apporter sa touche à ‘’l’épanouissement’’ de Diourbel, a dit son président.
‘’Sur 109 malades en pédiatrie, a-t-il indiqué, 60% présentent des cas de parasitose et 20% de dermatoses et infections respiratoires. En gériatrie, l’hypertension artérielle est la pathologie dominante suivie des rhumatismes articulaires’’.
En ce qui concerne la gynécologie, M.Fall a souligné que pour les 40 patientes, les pathologies les plus fréquentes sont les infections génitales.
Il a ajouté que 57 femmes ont été dépistées pour le cancer du col dont 6 cas suspects.
En médecine générale, 200 personnes ont été consultées avec comme pathologie dominante les parasitoses, les infections respiratoires aigües.
