Le week-end du 26 août dernier, juste avant la rentrée, le festival Afropunk est revenu à Brooklyn pour sa 12e édition après avoir enchanté le public européen à Paris et à Londres.
Sampha,Solange, Anderson Paak, Princess Nokia ou encore Shay Lia… Ce sont plus de 80 artistes qui se sont produits au Commodore Barry Park à New York devant plus de 60.000 festivaliers. Maison mère du festival, Brooklyn est aussi la terre des looks et des styles les plus avant-gardistes de la communauté afro.
TRACE était présent pour cette célébration de la culture noire et tout a été mis en boîte pour un superbe récap de ces deux jours de folie.
