La direction générale des impôts du Nigeria (FIRS) a enregistré des recettes fiscales estimées à 5,8 milliards de dollars entre janvier et juillet 2017.
D’après le rapport de la FIRS publié ce lundi, les prévisions fiscales pour l’année 2017 sont estimées à 11 milliards de dollars, avec des recettes pétrolières contribuant à hauteur de 5 milliards de dollars.
Le document indique que les secteurs non pétroliers ont contribué à hauteur de 65,9 pour cent aux recettes fiscales.
«La FIRS a beaucoup misé sur l’innovation technologique pour atteindre des résultats et s’assurer de la rapidité et de la transparence des opérations de collecte des taxes » explique le rapport ajoutant qu’en collaboration avec la Commission des Affaires corporatives (CAC), la Banque centrale du Nigéria (CBN) et le Service des douanes du Nigeria (NCS) la direction des impôts a lancé un programme ambitieux d’inscription à l’échelle nationale de tous les nouveaux contribuables.
