Le camp de Pape Diop, ancien maire de Dakar, ne compte guère être mêlé dans l’histoire de la Caisse d’avance de la ville de Dakar. Une affaire qui vaut à l’actuel maire, Khalifa Sall, une détention en prison, en attendant son jugement. Ce dernier, a tout le temps ré- pété que cette caisse a toujours existé dans ladite municipalité. Même s’il indique que «cette affaire est politique», le camp de Pape Diop a plaidé pour sa non implication dans cette histoire.
