Les sieurs Aliou Diouf, Babacar Sy et Abdoulaye Diop ont été attraits hier devant la barre du Tribunal des flagrants délits de Dakar. Ils étaient poursuivis pour branchement frauduleux sur le ré- seau d’hydrocarbure de la Société africaine de raffinage (Sar). Les prévenus ont nié les faits qui leur sont reprochés. Toutefois, la Sar qui s’est constituée partie civile dans cette affaire, a soutenu le contraire. Le représentant du ministère public revenant sur les faits, a indexé Aliou Diouf et Babacar Sy comme étant les principaux auteurs de ce trafic. À l’en croire, ces deux individus qui officient
comme mécaniciens, ont été interpelés dans leur atelier lors d’une descente inopinée des préposés au gardiennage de la Sar sur le lieu incriminé. C’est sur ces entrefaites, dira-t-il, qu’ils ont été cravatés, de même que le nommé Abdoulaye Diop, qui a eu la malchance d’être au mauvais endroit et au mauvais moment. Pour le procureur, les faits sont constants, puisque les principaux mis en cause ont été surpris en train de siphonner du carburant après avoir perforé un pipeline de la Sar. Selon le maître des poursuites, des bidons de carburant qui ont été saisi sur place est la preuve par neuf de leur culpabilité. Malgré les effets de manche de leurs avocats, le parquet qui tenait le bon bout, a requis une peine d’emprisonnement de 2 ans ferme à l’encontre d’Aliou Diouf et de Babacar Sy, puis l’acquittement pour délit non constitué à l’endroit d’Abdoulaye Diop. Finalement, l’affaire a été mise en délibéré à la date du 18 mai prochain
