La 4e journée des éliminatoires du Mondial 2018 s’est achevée mardi 5 septembre 2017. On retiendra notamment que le Nigeria, le Burkina Faso et la Tunisie ont assuré un match nul qui leur permet de prendre une option sur la qualification. Idem pour l’Egypte qui bat l’Ouganda 1-0 et lui reprend la tête. De leur côté, le Sénégal et la RD Congo n’ont plus leur destin en mains.
La Côte d’Ivoire et le Maroc continuent quant à eux de se disputer les commandes dans le groupe C, tandis que le Cap Vert, la Zambie, le Gabon et dans une moindre mesure le Ghana reprennent espoir. Enfin, l’Algérie, le Cameroun, le Congo, la Guinée et la Libye sont d’ores et déjà éliminés.
