La panne de l’appareil de radiothérapie du service de cancérologie de l’hôpital Le Dantec va coûter doublement à l’Etat du Sénégal. Si les autorités avaient pris les devants, des millions Fcfa auraient pu être économisés. Car, après la première vague de malades du cancer qui sont évacués au Maroc, la seconde vague va quitter Dakar probablement aujourd’hui ou demain pour le RoyaumeChérifien. Ces évacuations sanitaires constituent des dépenses supplémentaires qu’on aurait pu éviter. Et ce qui est révoltant dans cette histoire, c’est que le Sénégal ne possède qu’un seul appareil de radiothérapie là où des pays comme la Mauritanie en dispose plus de cinq.
