Le chanteur sénégalais Abdou Guitté Seck, a vanté mercredi à Dakar, la «pertinence sonore et textuelle» de son nouvel album intitulé «Ndioukeul» (hommage, en wolof), «fruit d’un travail de longue haleine», selon lui. «Il est d’une importance capitale d’interroger mes mélodies, mes arrangements et mes textes pour saisir la substance de mon slogan “danse ma musique et écoute mes paroles”», a-t-il dit lors d’une conférence de presse. L’artiste a indiqué que son 10ème album insiste sur la «diversité» culturelle, à travers des titres chantés dans les langues pulaar, hassanya et wolof, entre autres. Concernant son nouveau produit, il a précisé qu’il s’agit «d’apprécier la pertinence sonore et textuelle de l’album pour y entendre un message qui se veut responsable». «Je cherche toujours à ce que mes chansons ne soient pas un objet vulgaire de communication, mais un moyen de voir, d’entendre, de sentir et de ressentir le monde», a fait valoir Abdou Guitté Seck, à l’Aps.
