Même si dans cette tragédie, les enseignants sont pointés du doigt comme auteurs de ces grossesses, la direction médicale scolaire souligne, qu’ils ne sont que la face de l’iceberg, puisqu’ils représentent 2% contre plus de 60% entre pairs, à savoir élève et élève ou élève-étudiants. Aujourd’hui, dans le milieu scolaire des mesures d’accompagnement sont en train d’être mise sur pied afin d’éviter au maximum des grossesses en milieu scolaire. Il s’agit des curricula qui sont en train d’être élaborés pour permettre aux filles de connaître leurs corps et par ricochet « gérer » leur sexualité, des infirmeries scolaires pour prendre en charge la santé reproductive avec les différents services offerts. Mais, du côté de l’enseignant, un code de conduite verra bientôt le jour.
