Thierno Alassane Sall a démissionné de son poste de ministre de l’Énergie, a informé la Rfm, ce matin.
Quelques minutes plus tard, la Rédaction de Actunet a reçu un communiqué du gouvernement annonçant que « par décret n° 2017-696 du 2 mai 2017, le Président de la République a mis fin aux fonctions de Monsieur Thierno Alassane Sall, Ministre de l’Énergie et du Développement des Énergies renouvelables ».
Des sources d’Actunet.sn expliquent qu’en réalité Thierno Alassane Sall a pris les devants en annonçant sa démission avant même que le décret ne soit rendu public.
L’on explique qu’il a eu des divergences avec le Président de la République et le Premier ministre sur la gestion des blocs de pétrole. On l’accuse d’avoir voulu tout donner à Cosmos alors que le chef du gouvernement et le chef de l’Etat voulaient confier la gestion de ces blocs à plusieurs multinationales.
Toujours est-il que leurs divergences ont atteint leur summum ce matin au Palais de l’avenue Léopold Sédar Senghor et le Président a vu rouge avant de lui signifier, devant le Premier ministre, qu’il le démet de ses fonctions. Le décret devait suivre.
Le Président s’est ensuite rendu à l’aéroport pour embarquer à bord de la « Pointe Sarène », l’avion de commandement, en direction d’Afrique du Sud où il participe au Forum économique mondial de Durban.
Thierno Alassane Sall a-t-il démissionné ou a-t-il été démissionné ? En tout cas, désormais Mahammad Boun Abdallah Dionne, Premier Ministre, assure les fonctions de Ministre de l’Énergie et du Développement des Énergies renouvelables, cumulativement avec ses fonctions. Il a été nommé par décret n° 2017- 697 du 2 mai 2017.
